I have worked in Archaeology since 1984, so for over 40 years, predominately in British Archaeology but also for periods in France and the USA. Having spent most of my early career working in Scotland, I have worked with Cambridgeshire County Council and then with Oxford Archaeology in and around the Eastern Region of the UK since 1990.I am a leading proponent of Public Archaeology and have the responsibility for the education and outreach projects across Oxford Archaeology. I have considerable experience in successfully obtaining grant aid for this type of heritage project.I have extensive experience in project management, contracts and the heritage sector in general and I am a Heritage Management and Roman specialist, and continuing to pursue research projects in these areas, predominately but not solely in the Eastern Region. I am full Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (MCIfA), a member of the Council for British Archaeology (East) and sit on the council of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society.
