I run a small, local carpentry company, and work with clients to design and build projects that suit their needs, with an eye for aesthetics, a high sense of craftsmanship, and a sensible bottom line. My work runs the gamut from kitchen remodel to chicken coop, children's benches to Shaker sideboards.

Lead teacher in a first and second grade class.

- Researched, planned, and wrote federal and foundational grant applications to develop environmental programs at TIE, coordinating with interdisciplinary professors and outside organizations to create networks or expertise.- Managed TIE's web presence, creating content, developing consistent standards and styles, and using media to enhance the look and feel of the Institute's website.- Built new website for the Water: Systems, Science and Society program, highlighting featured news and alumni interviews to showcase the strengths of the graduate program for potential students.- Managed the TIE and WSSS budgets (totaling ~$450,000, with compensation details for 20-25 staff, faculty, and students), creating monthly summaries of expenditures and projected spending broken down into various programs and projects, as well as quarterly and yearly summaries and projections. - Designed various promotional materials for events and programs run by TIE and its affiliates, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, while working within the frameworks of the University's Visual Identity Guide.- Completed office tasks as needed in a timely, professional manner, ensuring that all details were carefully met.

· Ran an in-home afterschool for two families, with students in first, second, and third grade, and additionally, have worked with children from pre-K to fifth grade· Provide homework help and tutoring for math, reading, and spelling· Develop and manage a positive learning, working, and playing environment, using teachable moments to coach goals and strategies for dealing with conflicts and struggles· Communicate with parents daily

· Co-counselor for rising first and second grade students in groups of 10 to 15, at a traditional day camp. Activities led included arts and crafts, sports, adventure, and specials such as paper airplane construction and a treasure hunt· Used behavioral strategies to integrate and support children with special needs

· Assisted with day to day teaching and lesson preparation in a class of twenty 4th graders· Implemented numerous strategies to integrate a range of learning styles and needs, working with students one-on-one and in small groups as necessary

· Taught elementary and extended day classes for faculty who were absent, following teacher lesson plans and improvising as necessary· Worked with students from Pre-K to fifth grade
