This will initially be a series of six short stories, individually self-published, set during World War II when invasion was thought a strong posibility. If you have ever read the very popular 'Biggles' type books then you will know the style of these wartime adventures. These will be released on eBay Watch this space!Book One THE GRETNA JUCTION AFFAIR, sees the Gretna Home Guard on the look out for three downed Luftwaffe pilots trying to evade capture! Book TwoSHADOWS IN THE NIGHT. Who is setting fire to barns and grain stores in the Gretna area? The Home Guard are sent on night patrols in an attempt to stop the arsonists. But they are not as expected! Each story will be based loosely on real events and take place at locations that existed at the time. By using 1940's military maps for the area and walking the locations of the story I feel I can give a more authentic and believable air to the stories.ySpecialties: local battlefield guides, wargaming scenario Book and Magazines reviews submitted include Miniature Wargames and Wargames Illustrated.
