This is an Agency created under an Act of Parliament in 2008 to combat counterfeiting trade and other dealings in counterfeiting goods. The mission of the Agency is to combat counterfeiting and prohibit trade in counterfeit goods through training, research, consumer awareness and co-ordination with national, regional and international organizations in the effective enforcement of intellectual property rights.
