  Day to day responsibilities included overseeing all execution for Equities, Futures and Options, FX and Derivatives across Asia for all of SSgA's strategies. Strategies included Active Quant, Fundamental Equity, Index and Active EM.Managed a team of 4 traders and had a day to day overseeing function for IT trading support stationed on the trading desk.Responsible for local management/improvement/testing and evolution of IT trading platforms. These included OMS and EMS systems for market interaction across 3 asset classes.Day to day I was still trading markets which helped me keep in touch with fast paced changes. The desk would look closely at trends and constantly analyse execution venues and routing in order to improve workflows and achieve best execution.
