While with JGA I worked on a total of 43 buildings as part of the design teams, assessing the designs and advising where modifications are required to reduce risk.Main roles and responsibilities include:• Review architects preliminary designs to produce design review reports, highlighting where engineering solutions would be required or propose alternative approaches to comply.• Attend meeting with clients and architects before and during construction, to resolve any issues.• Prepare formal documentation for submittal to building control.• Represent the client at meeting with the Fire Department.• Created an excel spread sheet based on a building regulation document, which would tell you the minimum requirements for any building type from a few pieces of information.

While with Shanahan Engineering I was working on commissioning the Yanbu II plant. An 888MW power station consisting of 3 oil fired steam turbines, which also produced potable water via 2 MED’s (Multiple-Effect Distillation).Main roles and responsibilities include:• Prepared documentation and tested plant capability as per design, based of contract and ASME requirements.• Prepared the Plant Performance Test procedure, covering 200 separate test guarantees based on ASME PTC and contractual requirements  Optimised test plan to minimise fuel consumption and time.• Liaised between the client and system owners to assist in the finalisation of commissioning procedures.• Reviewed Construction Documentation for Quality Control prior to Hand over to Commissioning. Structured Commissioning Documentation to aid the transition into Hand over to the client.• Created excel trackers to enable a greater awareness of current tasks/ Priorities, as well as predicting the required work schedule to ensure completion is achieved by a set date. • Generate reports to update the executive management team.

While with PCH I was working on three projects relating to one company. All products were in batch production stage, finalizing the manufacturing process through DOE’s before stepping up into mass production and distribution.Main roles and responsibilities include:• Assisted the Project Engineers in running/ designing DOE’s• I took lead in examining a possible solution to one of the areas of interest within two of the projects. Designed machine presses using solidworks Performed several DOE’s to prove repeatability. Produced weekly reports showing the progression of my work for the clients. Participated in bi-weekly conference calls between PCH and the offsite clients.
