Primary lecture Instructor teaching a personal training certification course over a 9 week time period. Educating students on human anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology, exercise prescription, special populations, and legal matters. The primary goal of the 9 week program is to provide background information to pass the certification exam given by W.I.T.S.

Research Assistant for a Yoga research study at Springfield College designed for athletes with high stress and to improve overall physical function. Worked with the principal investigator and other study staff to organize data files and assisted with grant funding application. Created and organized all of the data files and assisted with subject recruitment. Managed and lead all introductory sessions for the research study and administered two separate baseline measurements.

Supervise and mentor graduate students in regards to information about graduate school at the Masters level. Primary areas of instruction include research guidance, studying tips, and other general information. Meetings with the students are conducted once a week in order to create timelines and to ensure that the students are keeping pace with introductory research course (taken during the first semester).

“Clinic Work” - Helps advise on physical therapy prescription programs and facilitate clients/patients through exercise programs. Design home exercise programs and assist patients in the application ice and heat therapies. File paperwork and charts when needed, and schedule appointments. Position requires working with up to seven patients simultaneously between the ages of 10 – 80 years old. (2600 hours) “Power of Play” - Worked with children 4-12 years old, creating engaging exercise activities and stations. Exercise programs were held at local YMCAs and other community centers. Educated clients on benefits of exercise and playing outside. (20 hours)“Outside Work with Sports teams” - Oversee the sport practices and workout plans for Portsmouth and Rogers High Schools. Create exercise programs and workouts for sports teams. Motivate athletes to sustain higher levels of performance and educate coaches on injury prevention and exercise techniques. (20 hours)

Worked with URI athletes in the Training Room including taping, stretching and massaging athletes. As well as administering ultrasound and E-Stim to athletes. Evaluated X-Rays, determine and carried out rehab programs and coordinated with medical staff of URI.
