As Assistant Project Manager I ensure that all maintenance and contractor services are conducted in a safe, timely, professional and cost effective manner. I perform Quality Control inspections of work completed by both internal employees as well as outside contractors for the Federal Government.

Direct the running of County facilities and create a safe and efficient work environment for the employees and the public. • Implemented an updated Powered Industrial Truck training and certification program in conjunction with Crown Corporation for the training and certification of over 160 employees.
• Implemented a scissor lift training and certification program.
• Updated the fall protection, hazardous communication (DEMARCO), and blood borne pathogen training programs.

• Responsible for health and safety in a rail car manufacturing plant of 700+ employees, that includes managing workers’ comp claims, medical files, performing new hire and annual medical surveillance.
• Conducting safety audits/inspections and accident investigations, maintaining OSHA logs, pre-employment and post - accident drug screens and conducting monthly and new employee training.
• Conducting safety and environmental audits and inspection, lock out, tag out, tryout program creation, training, and audit.
• Updated Hazardous Communication program and employee training for GHS compliance.
• Monthly safety meeting training, inspections, updating, and auditing of all safety programs.
• MSA portable gas monitor calibration certified.
