The main aspects of my role are:- Customer Interaction: Dealing with regular and varied enquiries from both our internal and external customers.- Producing MI: Working with customers (either externally or internally; particularly for the sales team that we support) to determine the nature of the information required; reporting this to them in a detailed and user friendly format.- System update: Monitoring and amending our core system where appropriate to maintain the smooth continuation of our customer relationships.In April 2015 I handed my notice in to complete my lifelong desire to backpack around Asia. I was offered the opportunity of a career break to return to the company, something that I declined on the basis that I would like a new challenge upon my return to the country.

I was initially employed on a temporary basis purely to enter data from spreadsheets into our internal systems.I quickly gained the trust of my colleagues and was moved onto a project which involved cascading a training programme to our sales force across the UK. This involved telephone conversations with sales personnel which would last anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Throughout this project I developed numerous relationships and wholeheartedly enjoyed the interaction.Following the wind down of this project, I was then moved within the Central Ratings Team within Lombard. Still employed on a temporary basis, I now found myself working with many senior members of staff. I quickly built my reputation further, developing my own niche speciality and making me a central contact for many queries that came through the team.I was then tasked with running a project to monitor certificate use across the entire organisation on a multi national level along with a small team. This project was very close to completion when I was employed on a permanent basis within the Unit Stocking Support team in December 2011.
