I graduated from Rhode Island College completing the Criminal Justice major program as well as completing the Psychology major program. I was initiated in both major programs’ respected national honor societies. With both major programs completed, I have learned the stages and interrelationships of the criminal justice process as well as the steps of the legal process. I also have learned to describe, explain, predict and control behaviors and mental processes of people with the courses in Psychology.I excelled as a food-server/bartender at both Chili’s Bar and Grill and at the River Social, by using excellent communication skills and the ability to handle situations that happen in the spur of the moment and to think quickly to fix situations. I developed a strong belief in teamwork in my years in football and wrestling. As a captain of my collegiate wrestling team for three years, I honed my leadership skills for I had get all of my wrestlers to focus on one goal and how we can achieve that together. Wrestling also helped me have the mindset that only hard-work and determination can achieve success and your goals for I was only a walk on to the team my freshman year. I understand what it takes to make sacrifices and to be very coachable to learn from mistakes to achieve the outcomes that are expected. I now have a coaching position at The Blackstone Wrestling Club where I am learning how to teach and adapt to different techniques and learning styles of all my students.
