At CCF, I worked within the lab of Christine O'Connor, PhD on several projects studying both the potential impact on HCMV within the context of inflammatory bowel disease, as well as mechanisms by which HCMV undergoes latency and reactivation. I also trained new research technicians and postdocs with effort ranging from extensive hands-on schedule management, experimental design, troubleshooting and data interpretation, to direct oversight to ensure compliance to rules and regulation and good practice and execution of protocols and techniques.

At PennState Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine, I worked in the lab of Gregory Yochum, PhD lab alongside Walter Koltun, MD, on better understanding the role of the Wnt/MYC axis in colorectal cancer and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
