I worked in China for the last 7 years of my career, and in Russia and Kazakhstan for the previous 7 years. I have been a lifetime student of Eastern Philosophy and more recently Political Philosophy. In the 1970's I studied Tabla and have returned to work with drums with the help of occasional instruction of an accomplished teacher. I have traveled extensively and since retiring in 2009 have lived based in Brooklyn while going to stay periods in Nepal, New Zealand, Carribean locales and South and Central America.Had a 30 year professional career starting with a Masters in Counseling Psychology, then a private practice for 11 years followed by an 18 year expat career initiated by citizen diplomacy in the former Soviet Union, followed by business development, training and teaching first in Kazakhstan then China where I retired as a principal of Clarity Corporate Coaching. I now enjoy living with my daughter, her husband, and my two grandsons. I travel frequently, especially for retreats with specific kinds of spiritual teachers.Most recently I have been contemplating a number of initiatives I could further develop with given communities for engaging in cross-cultural citizen diplomacy. These each involve arts and education exchanges with regions of emerging economies that are undergoing political transformations.
