Leading a multi-jurisdictional change team against aggressive delivery dates.

Project manager for the delivery of the Intermediary release of the Jersey Consolidation Programme. Included re-platforming of full Intermediary and corporate investment clients, realignment of proposition and revision of existing operational processes.

Ownership of the Reward, HR, Management Information and Finance workstreams of this transformational programme. Successfully delivered for Day 1 the new performance management framework, together with the necessary HR changes to support. Aligned the MI processes and tool kit to support monitoring as well as a new MI suite for the Front Office management team. Finance workstream working to a later date and currently busy defining the full requirements for what will be a ledger restructure.

Along with the Twin Peaks Programme I have just picked up this new one. Locally called the UK - Crown Dependencies Inter Governmental Agreement (UK-CD IGA in short), but its the UK equivalent of FATCA for the Offshore Islands. Programme mobilised and phase 1 delivered successfully in line with regulatory deadlines and under budget.

Programme manager for the Wealth, Asset Finance and International division for the delivery of the new regulator model introduced. Following the break up of the FSA on the 1st April 2013 the business needs to get ready to both work with the two new regulators and amend all collateral, processes and platforms that outputs anything with reference to the FSA.

Short term piece of work to recover the Offshore Islands US FATCA programme and get it back on track to deliver this well known regulatory programme. Business engagement, Processes, IT analysis and general governance all in need of some recover. Programme back on track within 3 months and running smoothly prior to handback to the Wealth and International Programme team.

A £12.5M programme running across 11 countries and a project team of 105. One of the largest cross divisional programmes ever under taken in LTSB International and successfully delivering a series of projects targeted at simplifying the payments Infrastructure. These included consolidation of correspondent banking relationships, implementation of annual upgrades for both SWIFT and SEPA rulebooks and most importantly the consolidation of 9 SWIFT gateways into one UK central one. A huge undertaking with potentially huge risk to payments traffic across the group. Successfully implemented in July 2012 and following a period of warranty programme closed in December 2012.

This programme was initially set up to deliver the Payments Services Directive in 2009 but quickly evolved into also addressing SEPA Credit Transfers, SEPA Direct Debits, Consumer Credit Directive and others. Total programme budget £19m delivering across 7 International countries with a team of 28, mainly supported out of London with resources locally in each jurisdiction and in Jersey.

Located in the Offshore Islands there was an urgent need to replace one of our document management solutions and following a quick piece of procurement secured the services of Streamserve to implement their state of the art technology bringing our solution up into the 21st century.

Mercury was a wholesale reconstruction of the Operations environment in the Offshore Islands, generating 5 centres of Excellence and with that the training of hundreds of staff and applying lean processing to hundreds of processes. This programme was delivered for £1m but delivered £1.5 M of savings per annum.
