I work in the international development sector as an educator, writer, editor, project manager and activist. Have been Director of Centre for Global Education since 1995 and manage projects addressing training needs in a range of sectors: youth, community, minority ethnic and formal education. I represent the Centre in a range of policy and development networks in the north and south of Ireland, Britain and the EU. I edit an online development education journal, Policy and Practice, now in its 15th year of production. Have published books and articles on development issues and education practice. Since 2011, I have been delivering education projects in the Gaza Strip, Palestine supplementing the education provision of children aged 7-12 .
