This innovative live experience brought together sport, fitness, health, arts, food and drink as never before in an engaging and exciting way to encourage people of all ages to lead healthy and active lives. Visitors experienced an action-packed programme of sporting and cultural activity that allowed everyone to play their part in the celebrations. From live exhibitions from the Glasgow Science Centre, come and try sport and fitness activities, a colourful big top marquee with world-class circus performers entertaining the crowds and many more activities there was lots on offer for children, young people, senior citizens and families each day.GO LIVE at the Green also featured the Kitchen Garden food village, an attraction in its own right, with a blend of fresh, local delicacies, live cooking demonstrations from top Scottish chefs, tasting sessions and healthy eating advice.GO LIVE! at the Green delivered a vibrant, atmospheric and fun environment where people of all ages from all over Glasgow, Scotland and Europe created and shared inspirational and memorable moments as part of the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.Key Tasks:Programme development with local and national partners; Budget management; Contract negotiation and management; Venue overlay and set up; Marketing and promotion; On-site delivery and management of providers; Partner and sponsor rights protection; Programme review and evaluation.
