With 25 years' infrastructure and economics consultancy experience, I have had the good fortune to travel to many parts of the world helping clients develop and deliver key infrastructure. This has ranged from large scale port developments in the Middle East, to P3 toll road developments in Texas and economic regeneration grant funding applications in the UK. From a managerial and strategic perspective I have an excellent understanding of business processes combined with commercial insight. Add to this my many years experience in business development - whether forming teams, writing proposals or leading interviews and presentations - and the eclectic nature of my workload is emphasized. I am happy working on projects as an individual or as part of a team. I am regularly deployed as a senior team member, typically as Project Director, Project Manager or discipline expert. My technical expertise lies in benefit-cost analysis, area based economic development strategies, market analysis, public-private parnership opportunities, and the appraisal of major infrastructure projects, and I have a particular knowledge of transportation economics and finance. I work for a wide range of clients including public sector bodies such as government departments and publicly owned enterprises, and private sector entities such as infrastructure investors and banks. I have undertaken several projects outside of the US, underpinning my international credentials - assignments have been undertaken throughout Europe, the Middle East, South America, Africa and Asia.
