Freelance consultant/facilitator as well as an Associate Strategic Advisor with the Strategic Investment Board - SIB helps Government in Northern Ireland with investment planning and investment delivery. He previously worked at Director/Assistant Secretary level in the NI Civil Service following policy, public affairs and business innovation roles in the higher education sector (Queen’s University Belfast) and with health and youth/social inclusion charities (Diabetes UK and the Prince’s Trust). He adheres to educationalist Sir Ken Robinson’s view that creativity can involve connecting things not previously or sufficiently connected. He also believes most work and life situations can be helped by a 1980s movie reference.
