Responsibilities:• Credit control via telephone, e-mail, letter and fax with a high success rate• Managing ledger of over £8,000,000 during exhibition periods• Attending events and exhibitions, locally and abroad, to manage collection of outstanding payments and assist with the coordination and smooth running of credit control on-site• Managing a team of temporary staff for larger events, ensuring debt report divided accordingly and notes updated frequently• Pre-event analysis of all debtors (Identifying who is perceived to be high-risk)• Negotiating payment terms and ensuring disclaimers are signed at events• Creating post event reports; highlighting key issues relating to payment methods, results and possible areasfor improvement• Meeting with Credit Control Manager and Financial Director to discuss areas to improve service as well as mitigate issues that have arisen• Daily production of debt reports• Customer query resolution and customer care• Resolving Debt Collection Agencies payment/dispute queries• Training and supporting new and temporary staff
