CountiesExecutive Director, my primary responsibilities encompassed fund-raising, government and agency liaison, community advocacy and public relations with a concentrated focus on the development of external relationships and partnerships with local schools, businesses, social agencies and faith based organizations, all the while being the face of the American Red Cross for the media, donors, and community. Having managerial authority for all chapter operations, staff and volunteers, it was incumbent upon me to oversee the delivery of all Red Cross Mission Services throughout my jurisdictional community.During my tenure with the Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties Chapter, I had the unique opportunity to experience of workings with the American Red Cross at a time when we were undertaking massive change to procedures and protocols. In April of 2011, in the midst of these changes, with an astute understanding of the separate political agendas at play, along with a comprehensive knowledge of group dynamics, I successfully negotiated and merged two Community Chapters into one cohesively functioning Chapter under one set of by-laws with a unified Board of Directors.Most recently, in August / September of 2011, I successfully orchestrated a unified chapter response to Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. In addition to overseeing the chapter’s disaster response to the aforementioned storms and meeting the communities’ needs for mass care, sheltering and feeding, I also effectively pursued fundraising throughout the communities, acquiring individual and corporate donations and services in excess of $550,000.00.

Obrien Adjustment Company) and the formation of a new startup company, (McHenry Creative Services, Inc.)As Vice- President / CFO / Managing Principal for the newly formed parent corporation, now with four office locations covering seven states, over thirty staff/ employees, twelve vehicles, and several residential and commercial rental properties, I continued to have complete managerial oversight of all operational management responsibilities regarding all corporate and partnership assets, offices, vehicles, personnel and financial matters. Although my operational responsibilities expended exponentially, I continued to handle and maintain an active caseload of 75-125 homeowners and major commercial claims / loss adjustments, as well as, maintained oversight of our Fraud / Special Investigation Unit (SIU). Another key component of my responsibilities involved marketing and client development. Accompanying our growth was an expended client base both in the US and abroad.
