In my capacity as a Business Development Consultant, I have been engaged by various individuals,and companies for the purpose of developing key structural, financial and resource components necessary for the furtherance of projected goals and / or regulatory compliance.Recent Projects:Project Manager - (The Heavey Group, Inc.)New business start-up involved counseling principles and guiding the development of a strategic plan, which including but would not limited to, business operational structure, insurance related issues (*involving liability and property, business interruption, errors and omissions and key man policy coverage's), as well as, human resource policies and procedures.Project Manager / Coordinator - (Signal 88 Security of Greater Philadelphia)This assignment involved counseling and coordinating with the principles and investors regarding franchise business structure and purchase, capitol financing and investor structures, as well as, the franchisee's contractual adherence and compliance requirements.Director of Safety- (S2W Contracting, LLC.)Responsible for the creation and establishment of an OSHA / D.O.T. / Natural Gas Industry compliant Safety Program for a mufti-state construction company employees and vehicles. Additionally, this limited term assignment also involved the development and implementation of a computerized, cloud based, tracked training program for all staff, employees and subcontractors, as well as, setting up protocols for maintaining and updating the virtual compliance system for industry specific clients compliance database.

Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties Chapter Wyo. & Susq. CountiesExecutive Director, my primary responsibilities encompassed fund-raising, government and agency liaison, community advocacy and public relations with a concentrated focus on the development of external relationships and partnerships with local schools, businesses, social agencies and faith based organizations, all the while being the face of the American Red Cross for the media, donors, and community. Having managerial authority for all chapter operations, staff and volunteers, it was incumbent upon me to oversee the delivery of all Red Cross Mission Services throughout my jurisdictional community.During my tenure with the Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties Chapter, I had the unique opportunity to experience of workings with the American Red Cross at a time when we were undertaking massive change to procedures and protocols. In April of 2011, in the midst of these changes, with an astute understanding of the separate political agendas at play, along with a comprehensive knowledge of group dynamics, I successfully negotiated and merged two Community Chapters into one cohesively functioning Chapter under one set of by-laws with a unified Board of Directors.Most recently, in August / September of 2011, I successfully orchestrated a unified chapter response to Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. In addition to overseeing the chapter’s disaster response to the aforementioned storms and meeting the communities’ needs for mass care, sheltering and feeding, I also effectively pursued fundraising throughout the communities, acquiring individual and corporate donations and services in excess of $550,000.00.

McHenry Adjustment Co, Inc., McHenry Creative Services, Inc., Richard J. O’Brien Adj. Co.S&J Partnership, LLC. (Real Estate Holding Co.). The formation of a parent corporation, McHenry Group, Inc., was necessitated due to the expansion of McHenry Adjustment Company, Inc., the acquisition of a competitive adjustment firm (Richard J. Obrien Adjustment Company) and the formation of a new startup company, (McHenry Creative Services, Inc.)As Vice- President / CFO / Managing Principal for the newly formed parent corporation, now with four office locations covering seven states, over thirty staff/ employees, twelve vehicles, and several residential and commercial rental properties, I continued to have complete managerial oversight of all operational management responsibilities regarding all corporate and partnership assets, offices, vehicles, personnel and financial matters. Although my operational responsibilities expended exponentially, I continued to handle and maintain an active caseload of 75-125 homeowners and major commercial claims / loss adjustments, as well as, maintained oversight of our Fraud / Special Investigation Unit (SIU). Another key component of my responsibilities involved marketing and client development. Accompanying our growth was an expended client base both in the US and abroad. Consequently, this requiring frequent travel to various US cities and throughout Europe in order to cultivate and/or maintain our companies relationships with our clientele, in both the Domestic and Surplus Lines (London) insurance markets.

Responsible for investigation and handling of major homeowner’s and commercial property losses including supervision / oversight of Special Investigations Unit claims on a federal, state and local level, as well as providing independent expert analysis regarding cause and origin, insurable interests and coverage question issues of homeowner’s and commercial losses. Additional responsibilities included management of all Corporate, Partnership and Financial matters, Client Development, Public Relations and Marketing.

Responsibility included complete oversight and management of an automobile dealership Finance, Leasing and Insurance Department. This position also involved training; supervising and developing commissioned sales managers, salesmen and support staff. Additional responsibilities included oversight / preparation of earned commission reports and departmental accounting / profit-loss statements.

Accountable for the administration of all resort operations and personnel, including coordination of facility renovations and new construction. Instrumental in rectifying major commercial fire loss ($900,000.00) including review, examination, coordination and implementation of building repair estimates, architectural plans and construction schedule. Additionally, a corresponding Business Personal Property / Contents Claim / Settlement of ($360,000.00) required me to oversee the preparation, valuation, and submission of the contents assessment along with an active participation in the settlement negotiations.
