Founded in 2016, USaS developed LEAP - Long Endurance Aerial Platform. LEAP is a heavy-lift, long endurance, tethered unmanned vehicle system. LEAP can lift heavy payloads 400+ feet in the air, keep them aloft for 12+ hours, and bring payload data (e.g. cell service, photos, video) to users at fiber optic speeds. Chosen as the platform for the world's first flying cell tower, LEAP was deployed in disaster relief after Hurricanes Maria, Florence and Michael. USaS also provided mission planning and pilot services. LEAP can also carry radar (counter-drone), L-band (first responders), cameras (security, broadcast), etc.Prior to USaS, Steve was the SVP and General Counsel of WesTower Communications, Inc.. a $600MM tower builder and maintenance company. Steve helped prepare for a strategic event, which occurred when it was sold to MasTec Communications, Inc. (NYSE: MTZ).Prior to WesTower Steve was GC and Chief Compliance Officer at Cambium Networks, Inc., which was owned by PE firm Vector Capital. Cambium designs, manufacturers and distributes sophisticated wireless telecom products.Prior to Cambium Steve was the General Counsel of Telmar Network Technology, Inc. Telmar was a $160MM telecom services, maintenance and logistics company with significant operations in the US, UK, Netherlands, Malaysia, Brazil, Argentina, India and Mexico. Prior to its sale to Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NYSE: JBL), Telmar was owned by private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
