I have been working on projects primarily for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission as the General Contractor. Projects include the San Andreas Pipeline #2 (SAPL 2) replacement as well as two strategic Ground Water Recovery Projects. The SAPL 2 project consists of demolition of approx 5,000ft of aging 54” diameter pipeline and installation of a new 54” butt welded steel pipe using open cut methods. This project also included approx 1,500ft of slip lining a new 42'' butt welded steel pipe inside sections of the existing 54'' pipe. The Groundwater Projects consists of construction of 12ea well water pumping stations with chemical treatment processes and extensive SCADA integration as well as approx 40,000ft of discharge and utility pipelines installed by both open trench and trenchless methods.

With RPS I was working in the water and environment section. I was involved in feasibility studies and detailed design projects for both Water and Waste Water infrastructure.

I spent nearly 20 months (2 summers and a year out placement) in total working with Graham Construction as a student engineer. The majority of my experience came from working on NI Water jobs both in Water and Waste Water. I was involved in the Service Reservoir Rehabilitation Framework and the Integrated Waste Water Framework as a site engineer.I have also been involved in several highways maintenance frameworks including the installation of various types of bridge joints, cathodic protection of bridge structures, structural repairs of motorway bridge parapet walls and the construction of a concrete step barrier on the M2 Foreshore.
