I've spent many years building software, and I've spent many years married to a veterinarian, so it was inevitable that those two paths would cross. Now I get to build tools that make a difference for people that I care about. Veterinary Practice Management is a fascinating problem because the software that vets use all day has to be right on the magical line between simple and powerful. Leading a team that is finding that balance, and explaining it to veterinarians around the globe, is one of the most interesting challenges of my career.
