Hi how are you?About me - I am a systems engineer by trade and tired dad by nature. My interests when not keeping my children from injuring themselves are sports (mostly football), food (eating it more than cooking it) and learning new things, I am currently learning how to surf and always have a course going on Udemy.Work stuff - I have years of experience in many coding languages like java, SQL, python, terraform and bash plus lots of XML experience. I have largely worked in the integration layer, connecting systems to each other and making them get along as required whether that be internally or externally to 3rd parties. I am currently working a project to migrate an Oracle middleware product away from a IBM data centre into AWS.I was part of a career acceleration programme where I was tasked as part of a team to change the way a company works from a waterfall and date driven focus to a more agile method to deliver more in small increments. This involved working with stakeholders from across the company and presenting findings and proposals direct to CEO and exec level members.I am a down to earth person who would rather talk than e-mail or message. Working together is better than alone and will treat anyone the way I would want to be treated.
