I successfully introduced a Quality Dashboard to the NHS, to monitor quality across a number of different indicators.The tool provided advanced Statistics Process Control analytics and rules for identifying unusual patterns and statistics within the data.The tool has been presented at the Cabinet Office.

I was responsible for the comprehensive management and stabilisation of a multi-terabyte database platform.When I started working on the system it was not running as effectively as it should (often failing). On leaving Citi, the system has been running without failure for 2 months.After the system has bene stabilised I successfully completed a project to migrate the entire system onto a new hardware and software platform.

I was responsible for Business Intelligence for the UK & Ireland and was also responsible for assisting other Northern European countries with any issues they had at the lead Data Architect for Northern Europe.When I started work at Sodexo, there was no defined Business Intelligence funciton. However, through the completion of a number of Business Intelligence projects, I gradually built up the Business Intelligence function which expanded into a team.I introduced reporting at Sodexo which had not previously been possible, having combined data form multiple difference systems into a central enterprise Data Warheouse. I started work in British Gas as a clerk. However, having been programming from a very young age, I also had a good grounding in development.I noticed very early on that there were repetitive tasks which could easily be automated.I discussed this with a manager and was asked to prove it. I subsequently did, and shortly afterwards British Gas set up a "Secondary Processing" department in Manchester in order to continue progress in this area, which I joined as their first member of staff (with a manager leading the team).During my tenure at British Gas, I introduced automation which allowed for major headcount reduction, and provided a system which allowed Quantum Card customers to be billed automatically.
