The Jack-up is due to start a 2–3-year contract with Equinor out on the Norwegian sector.Duties and responsibilities• Advising the Project Managers of the status of HSES activities to ensure that respective HSES management systems are being applied during the life cycle of the project.• Bring to the attention of the respective Project Manager any deviation from the HSES Bridging Document.• Providing advice to Project Manager on matters related to Health Safety Environmental and Security.• Ensuring that project personnel are fully aware of the HSES management system requirements.• Conducting regular HSES inspections of the work site.• Maintaining a functional reporting route to the HSES Manager.• Participation in the investigation of incidents and near misses and ensuring the implementation of their corrective actions.• Co-ordination of project HSES activities and of the HSES interfaces between Client, Contractor, Subcontractors and Suppliers.• Coordination and participation of HSES activities at the work site.• Supervising HSES activities at the work site.• Maintaining daily communications with the Sub-contractor’s HSES representatives and Project Site Management Team.

Responsibilities for implementing and accomplishing specified Quality Surveillance (QS), coordinating and treating of deviations reported in from the projects within Customer Support. This work assignment also includes exercising QS activities in the department workshops as well as at suppliers, as specified in the base instructions from Kongsberg Offshore. Required to accomplish these requirements and activities as QS per project specifications plan and instructions.Participate with the Material Review Board – MRB – held at Kongsberg monthly, with the respective product technical mangers, to help identify and aid in resolving the issues and problems that offshore operations were being challenged with for X-Trees and operational equipment used during installation and commissioning.Witness any tests and any stop points of inspections, for equipment belonging to the clients, also any specialized inspections required with goods received from the main production delivered from Kongsberg and Scotland.In conjunction with my work and specification as coordinator for deviations in the SAP system. Involved with pursuing inquiries within the projects related to customer complaints relevant to non-conformance also verification of the deviation treatment, conformity to verification and progress of the deviations improvement plan.Leading and resolving through fault finding several major incidents caused on operational failures that had impact for commissioning and installation progress. Support of the geological operations that Exlog (BHI) had during the exploration period with major oilfield operators. Preparation of operational equipment for MWD, sampling systems, gas detection and site modules which were required to run an operation from short term and longer periods. Coordinate with crew and systems operations through clients for their weekly support.This position included the management of the custom controlled warehouses, shipment transportation expedition / co-ordination and acceptance for purchasing of stock to these warehouses. It also entailed the controlling of defined calibration and services where maintained; for lifting equipment & containers, pressure & measurement recorders, offshore gas warning and detection systems. Also, requirements to the service and repairs for the operations continuity, where quality control was an important process in the companies works ethics and function. I was also responsible for handling the tenders of purchase for equipment to the B.H.I geological units on Exploration rigs operational in the Norwegian sector and operations run through Aberdeen for the North Sea.The position also included the responsibilities as coordinator in expediting to the individual oil industries operating, as single point of contact to the clients for material requisitions, preparation and development of frame agreements with suppliers. The scope of work also included the inspections to compliance of suppliers plus delivery of goods through forwarding agents. My position also included the daily / weekly planning of different tasks in co-operation with the project responsible managers.In December -94 through to January-95 I was co-involved in developing a quality routines system & quality control system and corresponding written procedures for B.H.I.This system assisted in obtaining the first certification for ISO 9002 standard B.H.I achieved in 1995
