I was delighted to be accepted for the role of Product Manager at Cutitronics. This incorporated two aspects:1. A traditional Product Management role for the consumer devices and Apps for the Cutitronics suite and 2. A technical role regarding the architecture of the firmware with a specific focus on the security to support the brand protection and and data sharing to the back office of this innovative solution.

Joint chair of the HCE Working Group of the OSPT Alliance, charged with the development of the HCE white papers, specifications and other supporting documents. Presented the case for the use of CIPURSE based open standards internationally.

With the acquisition of Ecebs Ltd by Rambus, the title "Head of Solutions" was always going to be an issue. With the internal regrading I was appointed Senior Product Manager for the Ticketing part of the Rambus Security Division. Same job, different title.

Having been solutions manager for three years, I have been appointed Head of Solutions to bring consistency and clarity to the entire suite of Ecebs products and solutions. I am responsible for driving these solutions forwards and help steer the direction of our new solutions (with a particular focus on Mobile) - while also providing occasional application support for our smart card products.

I have direct responsibility for the revenue targets and supporting product roadmaps for Ecebs’ smart card solutions and our other embedded products. Included in this has been an ever increasing role for wider embedded system product development.

Definition of and lead in the development of smart card products in domains such as ID, payment and transport. These have been developed on Java Card, MULTOS, AVR, ARM and 8051 based devices.Been involved in other non-smart card but security related projects such as 18 months on a brand protection (anti-counterfeiting) project.

Product Engineer and then application engineer within smart card group of Motorola Semiconductor Products sector. Focused on new product introductions, from device evaluation to software library development with a focus in final years on cryptography.
