The Vermont Small Business Law Center provides free access to legal services for small businesses and startups. Students in VLGS’ Small Business Law Clinic educate small business owners about the law, offer explanations of legal concepts, and help guide them through legal options. Our students also educate the public in group presentations, Q&As, and webinars on legal topics relevant to small business owners. Finally, our students provide tailored legal resource summaries to educational clients to help them further explore the legal questions their business is facing. The work that students perform for the Small Business Law Clinic is pro bono.
