As a Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers and life-threatening inflammatory diseases of the skin. I also have a strong interest in the study of pigmented lesions, and am well published in the field of unique hematopoietic diseases of the skin.

Supervised medical students and residents. Provided instruction in fundamental gross room technique, laboratory procedures, microscopic analysis and autopsy pathology. Assisted in the provision of labs for the undergraduate medical student Pathology course.

Supervised rotating undergraduate and graduate students. Provided instruction in tissue culture, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, basic molecular biology techniques, recombinant protein preparation, and phosphoprotein analysis. Supervised pathology residents engaged in collaborative research. Presented 5 Grand Rounds/Continuing Medical Education seminars to the Department of Pathology focused on familiarizing faculty with emerging research techniques in experimental pathology.
