I manage an enterprise of Minda Incorporated called TRAK. Here at TRAK we employ 38 amazing people who have a disability and 5 staff other than myself. The work we do here is very meaningful and the employees put a great deal of pride in to each and every task that they do. My role is to ensure that the work continues, that the goals set are achieved and that we make the workplace a friendly but safe area to work in.TRAK is mainly a timber manufacturing business, completing a variety of products from a simple chopping board right through to the produce bins and timber display stands you will see at your local super market. We also do solid Australian Oak timber tops for cafes and restaurants. Here at TRAK we are always looking for further opportunities to work with businesses to supply them Australian Made timber products.As for myself, I believe myself to be a hard working, honest employee of Minda who has the best interest of all of my employees at heart. I come from the Building and Construction background, moving in to lecturing in the TAFE system before moving in to the Disability Sector. I thoroughly enjoy working in this sector and hope that I can work my way through to a more senior role or in to a role that will further enhance opportunities for people with a disability. I feel extremely proud to be able to work with the guys and girls employed at TRAK and will always wish for the very best for them and all people living with a disability.I am always open to communications with others in this sector and am always looking for partnership opportunities with businesses to further the work opportunities for all of us here at TRAK.
