•Create the Supply-Chain strategy and plan for the company.•Ttrain and support the purchasing leads effectively and efficiently to maximise service and sales opportunities with TKAA’s customer base and inline with the plan.•Interact with suppliers as required and to build effective relationships.•Maintain a list of approved suppliers that supports the requirements of the business.•Overseeing the purchasing to ensure that all required materials, stock and back orders are processed within procedural and customer requirements.•Maintain an accurate Outstanding Materials Reports (OMR) to ensure cash flow projections and sales forecasts are correct.•Monitor the status of orders from all suppliers and freight forwarders and ensure this is reflected accurately in the OMR.•Oversee the purchasing process of all sundry products and services whilst ensuring cost effectiveness and suitable quality.•Be responsible for the coordination of sub-contract management jobs ensuring all internal and customer quality requirements are maintained as well as maintaining a competitive edge for the company.
