I am a development expert specialising in urban regeneration and mixed use. What motivates me is having a positive impact in making development happen which I do through applying my skills in the preparation, appraisal, financial modelling, funding, procurement and delivery of mixed use development schemes.I am the Regional Managing Partner of Cushman and Wakefield’s Yorkshire and North East region which I combine with leading the firm's Development team across the North of England. I am a dual qualified chartered development surveyor and chartered town planner and have over 20 years professional experience. I started my career working for a regeneration company in London before joining DTZ and then relocating to Yorkshire to set up and lead a Development and Regeneration Team.Key areas of my focus are:• Cities, urban redevelopment and growth• Infrastructure-led property development focusing on station led development, airports and ports• Residential development, including large scale sites, new settlements and urban extensions• Repurposing of vacant / underutilised assets• Viability, financial modelling and funding of strategic development and regeneration projects• Enterprise Zones and strategic employment sites• Structuring of public / private partnerships, joint venture and development agreements
