Due to unique test requirements specified by the customers, it was necessary to be flexible with current test procedures or devise new test rigs in order to facilitate the required testing. • The knowledge and experience I have gained in the analysis of data, and application to establish the root cause of an accident/incident, gives me a solid base for further development in forensic investigations.

Tasks involved meeting with design and marketing to discuss proposed products and communication with factories in Asia with regards to construction and quality of products. I also had to assess sample quality and workmanship, giving feedback to factories on where improvements could be made. Had to create Bill of materials (BOM’s) for products, which involved sourcing specific sizes for different continents, as well as keeping the product within a strict price limit.

During my time in aIT I have had the opportunity to work on several projects, which has helped solidify skills, which I learnt at University, whilst also learning and developing new ones. This involved having to solve problems, which occurred during testing including thinking of new testing procedures. I have had the opportunity to work on footwear and apparel projects, giving technical support to developers helping shape the design or function of the product to previous standards. Working on numerous projects simultaneously has required time management in order to prioritize and complete tasks on time.
