• Responsible for formulating the firm’s investment view within the emerging markets equity universe. Our investment universe includes 40+ emerging and frontier markets. • Analyze macro-economic data and trends to see how these impact global investment decisions at country, sector and stock level. • Build intrinsic and relative valuation models to assess relative value as well as tactical scorecards to identify oversold and overbought countries and sectors. • Build and maintain research-based model portfolios.• Introduced style (quantitative) strategies to identify regime changes, which helped improve investment decisions. • Created a market timing tool (DERI) that monetized research and was used to hedge risk in client portfolios. • Market our views to a wide range of institutional clients, which include long only and hedge funds.
