I have also;• Played a key role on the ‘Consultative Committee’, assessing EBA practicality and application, responsible for employee and industrial relations. Successfully negotiated a variation allowing shift variation (between two unions and Industrial Relations) within three months allowing continuous maintenance during COVID peaks• Developed and implemented the maintenance strategy, resource planning, staff engagement through transition and planning to successfully and safely handover all operating plants over to DDI as a member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT) • Restructured the maintenance department to help achieve maintenance execution KPI for Compliance to Schedule of 80%• Improved transparency of costs and planning building stronger reporting on and analysis of planned and unplanned maintenance, staffing numbers, capital projects and break-down costs. Focus led to a 20% reduction in budget, spending within 2% of predicted monthly maintenance spend within six months• Seconded to Night Shift Turnaround (TA) Lead as part of 2020 TA, successfully led the team to safely execute all tasks during nightshift within budget and no lost time incidents

My responsibilities and achievements included:• Ensured optimal plant uptime through performance monitoring and improvement strategies for critical equipment. • Provided technical mechanical engineering advice to maintenance teams and management. • Ensured the Granulation Plant operates within all required S.H. & E. parameters.• Planned and executed major Capital Expenditure Projects (CEPs), including the largest TA for the Granulation Plant - including replacing approximately 40% of all equipment, executed with no major incidents, on time and on budget

This included routine reporting to the Environment Agency of emissions data from CEMS, arranging for and the managing of emissions testing companies and the checking of their results for erroneous readings.
