As an orchestra teacher, I had to be creative, collaborative, and contemplative in lessons and in performance. I took the skills from teaching and performance and brought it into UX Design. I attended DESIGNATION for UX, and learned new skills while honing old ones. I am now a UX designer, currently seeking opportunities to challenge myself and help others through design. Special Education at Indian Prairie District 204, Grades 3 -5. Private Lesson teacher at Major Retailers, over 7 years experience teaching. Professional Music Experience: Voluntary Member of the Southwest Suburban Symphony. Church Musician during Holidays. Wedding and Funeral Freelance Musician. Member of various chamber groups and quartets in the past (ranging from traditional string quartets to baroque recorder ensembles). Composer and Arranger, freelance. Created a stand alone method book for beginning Violists and presented it at various honor conferences as part of my Senior Honors project over the course of 2 years. 16 years of experience on the Violin, and 10 years of experience on the Viola (Major Instrument). Teaching experience from K-12. Currently teaching private lessons on string instruments at major retailers, 100+students, ranging from age 3 and up.
