I aim to be an artistic, intellectual adventurer. I really do love many walks of life, and my history has been one of great change and risk. Though a teacher for the last five years, I have also been a writer, podcaster, and learner of skills such as music and language in that time. I aim to use my free time to better myself and pursue my own hobbies. I have also worked as an administrative assistant, health food store team trainer, and in a seal refuge center. I have won awards for my writing, and I have published writing on the internet. Writing is one of my passions, so I am always happy when I can marry it to my own work. I won the Voice of Democracy competition, had my own writing shown off as the example piece in my previous school, and I have taught students how to write poetry and essays. On top of this, I have volunteered at The Telling Room in Portland, ME to assist youth in finding their own dreams and expression through writing.
