(Prior to this role I was a Service Charge Officer from December 2011 to August 2016 at Circle Housing, now Clarion)Key tasks and successes included:• Calculating fixed, variable and third party service charges in a small team dealing with over 21,000 properties. Senior role involves overseeing calculations and supporting team members to produce clear consultation letters about major works to residents’ buildings• Delivering interactive training on effective communication skills and excel. Providing ad hoc training within teams as required• Responding quickly and clearly to residents’ queries. I’ve developed mail merges to deliver property specific, accurate information very efficiently. I can then provide a same day response – well ahead of the 21 working days by which we must respond• As a Team Site Editor for Circle’s intranet, I posted helpful information about my team to which other colleagues can refer. As a member of Circle’s, and now Clarion’s Change Network, I took part in workshops creating content ideas for the new SharePoint based site. I then helped test it before it went live. • Investigating the background behind First Tier Tribunal cases before producing thorough, clearly written responses• Playing a key role organising a staff conference (creating ideas for and then leading seminars, co-ordinating award nominations, scripting and appearing in two videos)• Devising a staff award scheme, “Have a Heart”, as a member of the staff forum. Colleagues nominated each other for excelling in Circle’s values. The name refers to Circle’s ethos: “putting customers and people at the heart of everything we do”• Passing my IRPM foundation level exam (90%).

I wrote for internal and external audiences in a busy team. I enjoyed working with colleagues from across the organisation to promote its values. Key successes included: • Writing a monthly staff newsletter (TeamTalk) which passed on key messages in a concise and interesting way • Producing newsletters for home owners, vulnerable customers and stakeholders• Developing a customer friendly home owner’s handbook which received a Crystal Mark accreditation • Responding to press enquiries against tight deadlines• Leading seminars which encouraged colleagues to celebrate newsworthy activities within their own departments.

I worked with local authority, key worker employers and housing association stakeholders promoting affordable home ownership (HomeBuy) across Kent, Sussex and Essex: • Organised affordable home ownership events across 39 local authorities• Wrote stakeholder newsletters and managed Twitter and Facebook profiles• Made PowerPoint presentations about HomeBuy to police, teachers and NHS staff.Prior to this I had worked at Moat as a Sales and Marketing Officer, helping Key Workers through the process of buying a home on the open market with an equity loan. This followed my time at Moat as a Customer Service Advisor where I was a first point of contact for customers enquiring about affordable home ownership.
