Member of the Legal Business In-House Team of the Year 2013.Highlights include:- Smart Metering project: lead lawyer advising Telefónica on the terms of its £1.5bn Smart Metering contracts for the provision of communications services to the DCC. - Tesco Mobile: advising Telefónica UK in relation to its Tesco Mobile joint venture with Tesco. Led negotiations with Tesco, drafting/negotiating all key documents including the Shareholders’ Agreement, Articles of Association, Mobile Services Agreement and Distribution Services Agreement. - Wayra UK: advising Wayra UK (a Telefónica seed investment company) on its investment in a number of start-ups. Drafting/negotiating subscription agreement, shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and services agreements. Organising incorporation of companies and Companies House filings. Handling second round and follow-on investment decisions and subsequent negotiations.
