I work collaboratively with the Groups’ implementation teams that mainly handle development of models and computation of expected loss numbers under IFRS 9.Currently, I am also leading the automation of regulatory reports project within the bank in order to release capacity for other value-added activities within finance.In Jan 2013 to August 2015, I was in charge of SCB Tanzania wholesale bank business finance supporting the Tanzania business from Nairobi with frequent on-site visits to attend key strategy meetings and spent time with the business team to explain numbers and create a working relationship.In Nov 2009 to May 2010, I coordinated People soft General Ledger implementation in the CountryLed the Roll out of People Soft Financials (PSF) as the Main General Ledger (GL) of the Bank. The project involved replacement of SUN Systems as the Financial ledger and interfacing of the various transaction processing systems including the core banking systems to the PSF GL. The project also involved the implementation of an Electronic procurement module and a travel and expense module.In 2010, I worked in the team that led the Integration of the Custody business from Barclays to SCB. I was the finance representative in the country working committee during the integration. My role involved ensuring necessary accounting procedures and infrastructure is in place for successful take-on of the custody business.
