I have been working at MEI Corporation since 2000. MEI Corporation is a distributor of Air Conditioning parts for Light, Medium, and Heavy Duty Trucks. During which time I served as Assistant Warehouse Manager for three years. I was switched from this position to Receiving/Inventory Manager due to the increase in volume of inventory stock and the time, experience, and effort it takes to receive and stock our incoming inventory. During the years when serving as Assistant Warehouse Manager I would manage anywhere between 5 to 25 full-time and seasonal employees. During which time I organized jobs, resolved inventory and shipping issues, and managed shipping for outgoing products via UPS.Currently, I am the manager of the Receiving Department. I supervise the Receiving team. I manage incoming inventory, update stock, organize and arrange warehouse storage space. Manage projects and supervise team members related to department duties. Arrange and manage inventory counts, special handling, and stock location for all inventory. Create inventory reports and coordinate inventory with the purchasing department. I ensure that inventory is received accurately, handle and resolve shipping discrepancies, and coordinate with customer service on incoming and outgoing shipments.
