Oversee the secondary assignment of Short codes and Premium rate numbers to licensed third party Content Service Providers. Product development for Value Added Services. Have launched SMS Trivia, SMS Bundles, Airtel Marketplace, Airtel Games.Also responsible for the revenue, innovation, usage and retention strategies of Airtel Kenya’s flagship Value Added Services such as ‘Kopa Credo’ (Advance Airtime Credit Service), Airtel Free Insurance, Mobile Advertising, SMS bundles and Pay-As-You-Go SMS products.

Developed and executed Airtel’s 2G and 3G coverage strategy countrywide. Responsible for planning and designing Airtel’s GSM radio network coverage to achieve capacity requirements and marketing’s objectives. In my tenure, I have successfully coordinated the process of planning and designing 469 new rollout sites of which all were successfully validated and approved. This initiative increased Airtel’s coverage footprint by reaching 89% of the country’s population. My key roles and responsibilities also included:• Extracting and updating network coverage statistics such as population covered and extent of indoor/outdoor coverage countrywide.• Auditing and Benchmarking the quality and coverage of the network.• Executing and managing Airtel GSM frequency plan as allocated by the Communication Commission of Kenya, CCK.I was also responsible for addressing Customer Complaints regarding the network’s radio performance, such as coverage, speed of service and capacity.

The Atherstone plant is one of their coated abrasive manufacturing facilities in the industrial markets sector, employing 253 staff, and with a business value of $100 million dollars. I worked under the Plant’s Health and Safety Manager. My main responsibilities included reporting and analyzing the Plant's environmental data to monitor compliance with Government regulations and the strict Company's Safety standards.
