I provided leadership for the Mental Health at Scale programme under the line management of the Local Authority (Adult Social Care) Directors. This included the following areas of work:Strategic Lead for the NHS Long Term Plan and local mental health initiatives in conjunction with the Local Authority Social Care priorities. • Managed a team to deliver the NHS Long Term Plan in Surrey for adult mental health services.• Led service redesign, procurement, budget management, and performance management tasks.• Achieved improved patient outcomes and cost savings through effective programme management.

Working in a Joint Commissioning Team for Hounslow CCG and Hounslow Local Authority. Specifically commissioning services for older persons including extra care housing, home care, dementia services and a variety of smaller services. The commissioning role involved service redesign, procurement, performance management within various models of delivery and payment mechanisms.Both CCG and LA were experiencing financial pressures and the commissioning role included service development improvement plans to get better value for public money.

• Led commissioning efforts for adult drug and alcohol services across two London Boroughs, overseeing procurement, performance management, and service improvement.• Successfully transitioned contracts from the NHS to Harrow Council, establishing new working arrangements with stakeholders.• Achieved client-centered services through effective governance and funding management.
