Working with great people to put conservation science into action.At Conservation Partners we recognise and value the importance of primary production in the Australian rangelands. We strive to find common ground between production and conservation. To do this we:● We work with landholders that manage significant conservation values. ● We raise money to develop and implement threat abatement programs to maintain or enhance those values. ● We are guided by existing Recovery Plans, Conservation Advices and expert opinion. ● We fill knowledge gaps using good science. We measure response with robust monitoring. ● This is all done within an adaptive management framework.HISTORY:We started in 2019 implementing a threat abatement plan for Golden Shouldered-Parrots on Artemis Station. The work followed recommendations of successive recovery plans that were never properly implemented. We are kicking goals and can prove it. There are almost certainly undiscovered populations that will benefit from threat abatement.
