I joined the team at Executive Compass in 2019 as a bid writer, progressing to the role of senior writer and subsequently quality manager/reviewer. I have worked on a variety of bids across numerous sectors, including several high-profile projects completed as part of a five-month secondment to a Tier 1 construction and engineering contractor. I have also served as an account manager for several of our longest-tenured clients, including a heating and renewable energy company in the South East and a fire safety and security company delivering services nationwide.Following my appointment as quality manager/reviewer in 2022, I provided guidance and support to our team of in-house writers in addition to tender review and enhancement services for several clients. This included a global architectural practice, supporting their successful bids for the provision of design, planning and cost analysis services for a new purpose-built innovation park in Scotland and design services for student accommodation in Newcastle.To support increased demand, in late 2023 I was appointed as training services manager, leading Executive Compass’s dedicated training and consultancy division, providing a wider scope of tailored services to our clients. As an experienced practitioner in the bid and tender writing industry who has had direct involvement in thousands of SQ, PQQ and ITT submissions, I can provide insight into how to create win themes, write impactfully and persuasively, and evidence unique selling points, contributing to the production of high-quality submissions with the greatest chance of success.Notable successes:- Award of a £54 million contract for access services and asbestos removal at Sellafield- Appointment to several multi-million pound heating and renewable energy frameworks operated by SEC- Award of a place on an NHS Supply Chain framework for the manufacture and supply of PPE- Appointment to a £1.6 billion LHC construction and infrastructure framework for public buildings.
