My interest for engineering design and technology led me to graduate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology's Mechanical Engineering Technology program. Afterwards I transferred into the University of Calgary's Energy Engineering program where I developed a deeper understanding of engineering theory while applying my technologist skills.I worked in a handful of industries before discovering engineering, with positions ranging from retail, foodservice, construction and warehousing. My academic journey began in 2017 when I entered an Academic Upgrading program at Red Deer College. After some research and exploring options, I entered SAIT's MET program with the intention on transferring into UCalgary's Energy Engineering program.Computers were always an interest of mine. I've run various Linux distributions since 2018 and use Manjaro as my "daily driver". I also enjoy assembling my own PC's, upgrading various components and making Raspeberry Pi projects. Programmable logic controllers (PLC's), Python and other tools during my studies were a highlight for me.
