Responsible for an engineering organization delivering NIST "cloud" based cybersecurity products to customers across multiple verticals. Created and organized multiple agile (SCRUM/Kanban) teams with test driven development and CI/CD pipelines to develop enterprise products and services and to help the executive team execute on a complex vision under challenging corporate dynamics. Managed the day to day operations including staffing, hosting and development resources across multiple groups, products and departments. Directly responsible for OpenStack/AWS design/deploy, migration of vApps from vSphere/vCenter, interdepartmental critical path tracking, product vision, roadmap, and alignment, reference platform design and benchmarking, and c-level relationships.

Designing solutions, doing deployments and training public and enterprise customers on cloud deployment, engineering, and architecture utilizing OpenStack.

Major customers included State Farm, Deutchebank, Sprint, Nationwide Mutual, Gartner, Cummins, CACI, and CU Boulder. Responsibilities included PDI engagements, optimization services, and architecture and design.

Responsible for select portions of a UC architecture project including over twenty clusters spanning thousands of sites. Also responsible for training operations and engineering in the finalized design.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Worked on gentoo and FreeBSD LAMP stacks, load balancers, thread and SQL optimizations, and designed a migration from MySQL to PostgreSQL. Also implemented a custom monitoring solution with SNMP and RRT within a web frontend. Experimented with PXE and cryptographic solutions for asymmetric server-server communication and block encryption with custom initramfs.
