With 25+ years of experience in the international transport and logistics industry, I have developed a strong knowledge of the inner workings of all forms of international transport and trade, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of differing approaches to business management within Australia and overseas. In my role as Managing Director of Royale International Couriers Pty Ltd in Australia, I was responsible for the ongoing growth and development of Royale locally, and further developed skills specifically in the international arena. The nature of the freight forwarding industry allows one to gain experience through working with other businesses in providing 'value add' solutions through logistics management and customer requirements resulting in a good broad knowledge of many other industries. In addition to general cargo and international courier services, Royale International Couriers is a major competitor in the time critical transportation field specialising in the movement of cargo internationally under strict time constraints. Royale remains competitive due to our high standard of customer service levels maintaining personal service at all times.I have now completed a Juris Doctor at UTS. I am excited about how that degree can be combined with my management experience will enable me to pivot into other fields.
