Credit Controller
Current-Credit Management: Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data.-Establish and review credit limits for customers based on their credit profiles and payment history.-Invoice Processing: Ensure invoices are sent out promptly and accurately to customers.-Monitor and supervise accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments through reminders, calls, and correspondence.-Dispute Resolution: Handle and resolve any disputes or issues that arise concerning invoices and payments.-Track the status of customer accounts and assess risky accounts.-Provide regular reports on the status of accounts receivable, overdue accounts, and collection efforts to management.-Develop, implement, and review credit policies and procedures to ensure they align with the company’s financial objectives and risk tolerance.-Ensure that credit policies are followed consistently across the organization.-Maintain effective communication with customers regarding their accounts, payment terms, and any issues that may arise.-Build and maintain good relationships with key customers to encourage timely payments and resolve any issues amicably.-Maintain accurate records of customer credit histories, payment transactions, and correspondence.-Ensure that all credit and collection data is updated and properly managed in the company's financial systems.-Identify and assess potential risks related to credit and suggest measures to mitigate those risks.-Monitor and manage bad debts, including the initiation of recovery processes or writing off uncollectible accounts.-Work closely with other departments such as sales, finance, and customer service to ensure cohesive credit management and address any issues affecting customer accounts.-Ensure all credit and collection practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.-When necessary, initiate legal proceedings to recover outstanding debts
