Led accelerated development plans for Frito-Lay dip $400MM business. Delivered a category first and a PepsiCo's first meat product introduction in 15 years ($30MM). Enabled a new $176MM dip segment opportunity.Led brand re-positioning and redevelopment for entire Baked! portfolio $350MM business. Delivered against market objectives & human sustainability targets through reformulation without consumer impact.Led development and launch for a number of assorted brands ($20MM)

Led accelerated product development plans for Baked! Lay's $220MM business. Delivered growth on the business for the first time in five years. Introduced two $28MM new products for mass merchandise, grocery, & the largest QSR sandwich company in the United States. Products performed 143% above forecast and brought in 10% incremental users to the brand.Co-founded, owned and managed technical research for a new approach to incremental product opportunities.

 Proficient in a number of techniques for carbohydrate characterization including chemical, physical, instrumental, and visual methods. Led twin-screw extrusion for a broad range of research projects and product development opportunities.

 Studied at the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Technology to explore the application of cereal and food science fundamentals in the pharmaceutical industry via use of modified starch in solid dosage forms. Hosted by Faculty of Bioscience Engineering (Roland Verhé & Christian Stevens) through EU-US Program in Biorenewable Resources.

 Developed a new food grade soluble dietary fiber from soybean hulls, a waste byproduct, to provide additional markets for soybean producers and processors. Responsibility included optimizing pectin extraction, concentration, and purification on bench top and pilot plant scale. Work was conducted in an energetic environment often requiring the development of new skillsets and outside the box thinking.
