It’s a key to our success, whether interpersonal or at work. It creates a culture of inclusion, diversity, and accessibility. Not to mention increased profits and better relationships. With outstanding listening skills, you can understand the other person’s perspective, connect with them, and lead and influence them. I provide customized keynotes and training to organizations to optimize listening skills. I did a TEDx talk on How to Listen, which was translated into 22 languages, and developed a web TV series called “Listening in a Silent World” on Telus’ Optik channel.Storytelling:Storytelling is part of my DNA. I live to communicate stories, whether it’s through public speaking or film. In addition to the above work, CBC optioned a sitcom based loosely on my life. In addition, I’ve won storytelling competitions, performed stand-up comedy on national television, and a documentary on me aired on CBC and PBS.
